Wakefield
The University of Virginia’s Associate Dean of Admission, Jack Blackburn, visited Wakefield School Monday, meeting with students and with Headmaster William Lynn. The meeting was requested by Mr. Blackburn himself, who stated that he has been impressed with the high scores of Wakefield students on the recent National Merit Scholarship Examination.
While at the school, the admissions officer received a description of Wakefield’s curriculum, looked at textbooks used at the school, and discussed college career plans with Juniors and Seniors.
