Center Offers
Summer Program
Sursum Corda School and Day Care Center in Washington will offer a program of summer fun and educational enrichment for children in kindergarten through third grade.
Activities include swimming, hiking, films, storytime, crafts, music, field trips, group sports and outside play. Sursum Corda will also begin a summer program for children over eight years of age if there is a demand for one in the community.
Along with summer activities, the center will also continue its regular child care program for children ages six weeks through five years and the group ballet and art classes begun this spring.
For registration and additional information, parents may contact the non-profit school on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Guest Speaker
The Rev. Wesley Warren of Bethesda, Md., will be guest speaker at Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville, Sunday, May 25 at 3 p.m.
The Rev. U. S. Brokenburr is the pastor and the public is invited to attend.
