Col. John S. Mosby will ride again in Fauquier County in a reenactment of the raids and skirmishes that led to the Battle of Second Manassas.
Sponsored by the Warrenton-Fauquier Jaycees in conjunction with the Fleets Battery of the Middlesex Artillery of Frederick County, the re-enactment, scheduled for June 7 and 8 in Midland, will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
More than 500 members of the Army of Northern Virginia, the Sons of the Veterans Reserve and the North-South Brigade will take part in authentic guerrilla raids and demonstrate the artillery used during the Civil War.
