Freeman
Funeral services for Ruben Christopher Freeman were conducted Monday at the Promise Land Baptist Church, Washington, by the Rev. John Pendleton of Flint Hill. Burial was in the family cemetery.
ML Freeman, a farmer, died Thursday, May 15, 1980, in Warren Memorial Hospital. He lived in Rappahannock County for 78 years.
He is survived by two sons, James Arthur Freeman of Falls Church and Walter Christopher Freeman of Washington; four daughters, Ms. Ann Freeman, Mrs. Mabel Glasker, Ms. Deloris Freeman and Mrs. Lillie Clanagan, all of Washington; two sisters, Ms. Rosie Freeman of Washington and Mrs. Martha Freeman of Amissville, and nine grandchildren.
