Afghan Donated
As Benefit Prize
A red, white and blue Bicentennial afghan will be the grand prize in a fund raising project' to benefit « activities of senior citizens who take part in the county’s nutrition program.
Donated by Cheryl Taylor of Amissville, the hand-made afghan will be on display at the Hampton Inn nutrition site from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Thursday and Friday and at the senior citizens’ booth during July 4 festivities in Washington. The prize will be awarded on that day.
Prize tickets are available from participating senior citizens or from nutrition site supervisor Faye Crescenti. For further information, call 347-7098.
