and (3) photography. Art works will be viewed at 11:00 and the judging will be done by a panel of impartial, professional artists. Cash prizes of up to $15 will be awarded to winners in each category, and a plaque will be awarded the school having the greatest number of winners.
The category of painting and drawing will feature student works in oil, pastels, acrylics, water color, pencil, ink, and charcoal and will be entered into three classes: Beginner (Grades 1, 2 and 3); Intermediate (Grades 4, 5, 6 and 7) and Advanced (Grades 8-12). The judging for art entries will be done by Sarah Wickham, Front Royal artist.
In the categories of sculpture and photography there will be two classes only in each (grades 1-7, and 812). Sarah Latham, Editor of the Rappahannock News will be judging the photography.
