Embrey
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Royston Funeral Home in Marshall for Mrs. Bessie Marie Embrey of Rectortown who died June 29, 1980, in Fauquier Hospital. The Rev. Joseph Stirman of Amissville conducted the service and burial was in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Upperville.
Mrs. Embrey was 70, the widow of John W. Embrey.
She is survived by eight daughters. Mrs. Mildred Chippous of Glendale, Md., Mrs. Betty Hummel of Berryville. Mrs. Sally Laudin of Falls Church, Mrs. Edna Wines, Warrenton, Mrs. Mary Wayland, Washington, Va., Mrs. Bertha Jacobs. Amissville. Mrs. Judy Hamuck of W. Va. and Mrs. Bobbie Leach of Fairfax; six sons, Charles Huff of Front Royal. Neville Huff of Washington. D. C., Gamer Huff and James S. Embrey. both of Rectortown, Western Huff of Pennsylvania and John T. Embrey of Marshall; 43 grandchildren. 15 greatgrandchildren; seven stepchildren and 25 step• grandchildren.
Other survivors include five sisters. Mrs. Fannie Dennis of Rectortown, Mrs. Alice Bell of Camden, S. C.. Mrs. Louise Grey of Fairfax,. Mrs. Virginia King of Berryville. and Mrs. Minnie Kampwart of California; and a brother. Grover Huff of Betryville.
