Mr. and Mrs. Early Sisk with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sisk of Orange attended a birthday party Sunday in Gainesville for Cookie Jenkins. Their guests for the evening were Mr. and Mrs. John Luffinon and granddaughter Sharon of Manassas.
Mrs. Carroll Quaintance entertained at bridge Friday night when her guests included Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser and Mrs. George Bain of Washington, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. Brown Miller and Mrs. Mary Quaintance.
Mr. and Mrs. Kent Pierce accompanied by Merlin Gumpton of Culpeper were in Harrisonburg last week where Mr. Pierce and Mrs. Gumpton attended the Valley Royal Arch School at James Madison University.
Judith Lynn and Janine Bloomer, daughters of Dr. and Mrs. W. J. Bloomer, attended 4-H Club Congress at VPI last week. Judith Lynn Bloomer was tapped into the Virginia Chapter of 4-H AllStars.
Mrs. Virginia Lewis was the guest of honor at a birthday party at the Quality Court in Front Royal hosted by Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Mathews of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Hudson of Luray. She was an overnight guest Monday of Mr. and Mrs. Fielding Lewis in Front Royal.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Deal attended a barbecue Saturday at Mt. View Nursing Home at Aroda given for residents and their families. Mrs. Deal’s father, Dennis Jenkins, is a resident.
