Modified Minutes
Dr. Bloomer pointed out on Thursday that the school board folders contained the modified minutes cf the board's May meeting requested at the June meeting by Eastham.
At the June session. Eastham described the minutes on the previous meeting that dealt with the series of events leading to the evacuation of the high school on May 6 and 7 as "a complete whitewash."
He claimed that the account written by assistant superintendent Rob McDaniel did not "address the facts that came forth" during questioning on the boiler incident. That there was “a hazard, a danger, was evidenced by the evacuations." he insisted.
Eastham proposed that approval of the minutes be suspended to give McDaniel, “who knows what was said and knows what was reported”, time to rewrite the section on the discussion of the boiler incident.
"I'll need to change my notes then sir,” replied McDaniel who serves as secretary to the school board.
