Estes in opposing a request from Virginia Dodson to rezone property at Slate Mills for a commercial garage.
Following last Wednesday's public hearing on Dodson’s application for rezoning a 90 foot by 200 foot parcel on Route 707 from agriculture to commercial, the planning commissioners voted unanimously to recommend to the supervisors that the request be denied.
Should the rezoning be turned down, Charles Dodson earlier warned the commissioners, "I'm going to Fight if I have to get me a lawyer." He maintained that he had $100,000 invested in the garage which is already built but not yet in operation. ‘‘Did you consider the
