The Last Minute Wood l Company, Rappahannock’s I dance-theater group, will 1 perform “Motions To Fly'' on February 7, 8 and 14 at 8 p.m. at the county ' elementary school. As in the past four years that the group has produced an original dance-drama, the theme of this year’s production is taken from the lives of the dancers. “Motions To Fly” is built around the death of Bob Coles, a dancer with Last Minute Wood. He was shot and killed while travelling in Mexico during the spring of 1979.
In addition to the Rappahannock performances. “Motions To Fly” will be I presented at the Moving Arts Center in Warrenton on January 31 at 8 p.m. and at Newcomb Hall, University of Virginia in Charlottesville on March 1 at 8 p.m. (sponsored by the Piedmont Alliance for Safe Energy).
