"Is there anybody who can verify that statement?” asked Wilson Woodard, adding that he’d been around tanneries before and knew they produced offensive odors.
“How do we know you’re going to keep with fish hides?” asked Fred Settle, raising the possiblity that Kuncewicz may also tan fox, rabbit, and other animal hides weighing less than 25 pounds.
Kuncewicz replied that conditions attached to the zoning ordinance amendment could limit the type of skins handled.
