On the basis of a map examination, the geologist pinpointed five possible sites for yet another town well, all located in good water recharge areas. The mayor reported on Monday that discussions on sale are now underway with landowners of the property ranked as the best ot tne nve locations.
Miller offered one final piece of good news that should convince town residents it’s in the best interests of their wallets to continue conservation efforts which have helped to make it unnecessary to haul more water. "We might be able to rescind the emergency water rates if conservation efforts continue,” he stated.
