The Department of State Police announced today that it had revised motor vehicle inspection procedures to exclude Saturdays and Sundays from the seven-day validity period of rejection stickers.
A spokesman for the Department noted that previously a motorist, whose verhicle was rejected, was given seven calendar days to have defective items repaired or replaced and the vehicle reinspected. However, the Department has become aware that motorists may lace some difficulty in having repairs made on weekends.
