Storage Structure loans are made available through your County ASCS Office for farmers to purchase and install new storage structures and drying equipment needed on the farm.
Purchase must be made through an approved supplier. The maximum loan amount is 85 per cent of the eligible net cost, not to exceed SI00,000 for any one person. Loans are for a period of five to eight years, and are repayable in four to seven equal annual installments, The interest rate for these loans is 12.5 per cent per annum on the unpaid balance.
Eligible structures include cribs, bins, silo-type structures and drying equipment.
