His coworTer at Middtebtifgr Dr. Harry Bryant, will describe his results with "Overseeding Alfalfa and Red Clover." Dr. Scott Carr. Extension Specialist. Forge Evaluation, will discuss “Preservation and Additives for Silage." “Storing. Handling, and Feeding Large Hay Packages" will be covered by Easley Smith. Extension Specialist. Agricultural Engineering. Dr. Harlan White and Dr. Dan. Brann will discuss different silaee substitutes. Concluding the program will be a panel discussion with questions from the audience.
The Area Swine School will be held next Tuesday. March 3. at Graves Mountain Lodge from 9:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The program conducted by V.P.l. & S.U. specialists will include “Housing and Facilities for the Small Producer’’. “Breeding Systems and Selection ot Boars and Gilts”. "Health Programs for Sows and Pigs." and a new system for record keeping. A Dutch-treat luncheon will be served and those planning to attend are asked to call the Extension Office at 675-3619 by Monday. March 2nd. for lunch reservations.
