He is survived by his wife. Mrs. Everlee Amiss Jacobs; one daughter. Mrs. Charles H. Hackley of Fairfax; two sisters. Mrs. Ernest M. Brown of Arlington and Mrs. Mabel Barrett of Fort Myers, Fla.; two brothers. Leslie Jacobs of Orange and Ivar Jacobs of Viewtown and two grandchildren.
Lane
Funeral services for Mrs. Vermel Elizabeth Lane of Markham were held Monday at the Mt. Morris Baptist Church in Hume. The Rev. J. P. Baltimore conducted the service. Burial was in the Mt. Morris Cemetery.
Mrs. Lane. 59, died Wednesday. February 18, 1981 in Fauquier Hospital. Warrenton. A Rappahannock County native, she was the wife of the late Granville Lane and daughter of the late Pendleton and Jennie Richards Williams.
Survivors include five sons. Granville Lane. Lindsay Lane. Richard Lane and Jrimmie Lane'. all of Markham and Ellery Lane of Front Royal; eight daughters. Mrs. Bessie Colbert. Mrs. Mary Folks. Miss Audrey Lane. Miss Linda Lane and Miss Jane Lane, all of Front Royal. Mrs. Estelle Haley of Markham. Mrs. Jennie Champ of Hume and Mrs. Ellen Williams of Arlington; and 27 grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers. Jame Williams of Warrenton and David Williams of The Plains; two sisters. Mrs. Juanita Brown of Washington. D. C. and Mrs. Evelyn Porter of Viewtown.
