What did the Rappahannock News expect to gain, or convey to the public, by the sensational headline. “Worth Of Rappahannock Property Jumps 2115 Per Cent"?
In the first place the statement is inaccurate. Newspapers must report facts. Is someone trying to be sensational. to stir up or mislead the public, or just what? Is not an apology due the public as well as our county officials?
The headline claiming an 2115 percent is wrong. I come up with approximately an 191 percent increase: here is how .
