Eagle Count
Tentative counts of Bald Eagles in Virginia during a recent mid-winter eagle survey showed fewer birds now than in 1980. The survey, which is sponsored by the National Wildlife Federation, indicated, in what are only preliminary figures, that 130 birds were counted in eastern Virginia.
