Crash Injures
Two Men
Two young men from Amissville were injured, one seriously, in a single vehicle crash Saturday night on Route 211 east of the village. Wilbur Glascock and Floyd Allen Miller, both 24, were traveling east on the dual lane highway when the crash occurred.
According to Trooper J. K. Pearson, the ’74 Chevrolet van in which they were riding went out of control and ran off the right of the highway. It veered back across the two traffic lanes, struck the bank in the median and overturned on the road, the officer said.
The crash is still under investigation and Pearson declined to report further.
Glascoek was taken to Fairfax Hospital and was released Monday. Miller remains a patient in the Washington Shock Trauma Center where he underwent head surgery.
