Nichols
Funeral services for Meade Nichols of Madison were held Saturday at Nethers Pentecostal Church conducted by the Rev. Charles Ginedinst. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Madison.
Mr. Nichols, 68, a retired employee of the Virginia Department of Highways, died on Wednesday, March 18, 1981, at his residence. A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Boot and Blanche Jenkins Nichols.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Charles Foushee of Remington, Mrs. Elwood Jenkins of Etlan, Mrs. Nancy Cunningham of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Arthur Cave of Madison; two sons, Gyde Junior Nichols and James E. Nichols, both of Madison; 18 grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. His wife was the late Fairy Susie Nichols.
