Mrs. Lynne Baines or Washington was organist and presented the traditional wedding marches and accompanied Miss Joyce Walker of Falls Church who sang “The Wedding Song.”
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a formal gown of white organza over taffeta fashioned with a natural waistline, lantern sleeves and split neckline, all accented with Chantilly and Venise lace. The bouffant skirt with a pleated overlay was bordered with deep lace and formed a chapel train. Her tiered veil appliqued with lace was attach^ to a Juliett cap and she carried a bouquet of pink and white roses.
Miss Connie Whorton of Woodville was maid of honor. Her old fashioned gown was of grape chiffon over taffeta with a square bodice insert of ecru lace that continued to the high neckline. She wore a matching picture hat and carried a bouquet of mixed silk flowers.
