SHARON SETTLE show her appreciation, but she’d like to thank them now for all they’ve done for her.
When you ask Sharon about the school system, her reply is, “As far as the school itself is concerned, I think it would be the worst place on the face of the earth if it were not for the superior bunch of teachers who hold it together. We really should appreciate their dedication, especially since the School Board does nothing to encourage such a quality faculty.”
As she looks back over her years at RCHS, Sharon finds that the years haven’t been all that bad, in fact, some pretty good ones, which she credits to all of her very dear friends. They seem to make life bearable. Nothing can equal the happiness a friend can give. It’s a special kind of love. Sharon dedicates this spotlight in loving memory of Miss Garland Riley, her third grade teacher and a very dear lady, who passed away this past Christmas Eve.
