According to the land trust’s lawyer, the eight lots in the proposed subdivision range in size from one fiveacre parcel to three 25-acre parcels. Although two additional five-acre lots zoned residential business are shown on the subdivision plat, DeJamette said they would be retained as a tenacre parcel. He added that an additional 15 feet next to the road right-of-way has been reserved for utility lines and other improvements.
Krebser questioned whether the land in the smaller lots might be over 14 per cent slope. (Minimum lot size for property over 14 per cent slope is 25 acres under the county's zoning regulations.)
“There’s no doubt that the three 25-acre lots are over 14 per cent slope,” DeJamette answered. He added, however, that according to the engineer who did the survey, none of the other lots are over 14 per cent grade.
