The Ralph Case Square Dancers will provide entertainment and music for dancing at the RLEP spring barn dance on Saturday, April 11, at 8 p.m. in the Wakefield School auditorium.
Program chairman Mitzie Young says tickets are now on sale for $5 single, or $8 per couple. All proceeds will support the programs of the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection (RLEP).
Ralph Case and his celebrated group of young people last performed in Rappahannock County at the RLEP barn dance in November 1978, when they won plaudits for their intricate and colorful dance routines.
In addition to giving several demonstrations of clogging, the dancers will mingle with the crowd on the floor, teaching everyone with two left feet how to square dance, and do the Paul Jones, Patti-cake Polka, Mexican waltz, and other routines. The Ralph Case dancers have appeared on TV’s Hee
