Special Meeting
The special educational series on cancer aimed at Rappahannock’s black community will continue with a film on colo-rectal and prostate cancer presented Friday, April 3 at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill at 7:30 p.m.
Both men and women are urged to see this potentially life-saving film.
Following the program, refreshments will be served. The educational series is sponsored by the Rappahannock Unit of the American Cancer Society.

Officers Elected
The Rappahannock County Garden Club met Wednesday, March 18, at Airlie Foundation near Warrenton for their annual business meeting. New officers elected were: Mrs. Florence Nordone, President; Mrs. Marta Tholand, VicePresdient; Mrs. Harriet Stokes, Treasurer and Mrs. Wanda Waddell, Secretary.
