ABC Profits

Rappahannock County will receive $8,656.45 as its share of $8,036,995 in profits generated by the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control for the second quarter of the 1980-81 fiscal year.

Department profits are distributed on a per capita basis to Virginia’s counties, cities and towns at the current rate of $1.73. The town of Washington will receive $326.56 for the second quarter.

Rappahannock County will also get $844.57 for its share of the $755,629 in liter tax generated by the sale of wine.
