William Hoffer of Front Royal, an accomplished author in many phases of journalism, was the guest recently of the advanced composition class of juniors at Wakefield School. Hoffer demonstrated procedures for getting books or written articles published.
His advice to the students was “to follow a dream and to start early in your writing careers before the pressures of adult living close in around you and your materialistic aspirations take over."
Hoffer's popular book Midnight Express, written with Billy Hayes, was highly praised by critics and has been translated into several languages. It has also been made into a movie which has ★★★★★★★★★
