Rappahannock farmers will have an opportunity to sharpen their management skills and to keep up to date on current recommendations at the three Extensionsponsored schools coming up in December.

These seminars will be held the first three Wednesdays in December at Graves Mountain Lodge in Syria, starting at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m.

The Area Beef Cattle School December 2 will feature Dr. Ike Eller, Tom Bibb, D.V.M., K. C. Williamson, and William Collins. Subjects will include cow and calf management practices, herd health, cattle marketing and cattle handling facilities and new fencing methods.

The Corn, Small Grain, and Soybean Seminar will be the following Wednesday, December 9. Speakers will include Drs. Dan Brann, Scott Hagood, Preston Reid, and Jack Dunford. Topics will include corn, soybean, and small grain production updates, weed control, and the new Federal Crop Insurance Program.
