Bridge Party

Mrs. W. H. Cordle entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club at her home Friday evening.

Guests were Mrs. I. R. Kilby. Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. T. J. Pillar and Mrs. N.K.G. Tholand.

Birth Announced

Dr. and Mrs. Howard E. Hightower of Portsmouth announce the birth of a son, John Peyton, on November 7, 1981 at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Grandparents of the infant are the Rev. and Mrs. Harold Carder of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin H. Hightower of Chesapeake. The late Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Latham, Sr. of Amissville are greatgrandparents.
