The annual Christmas parade in Culpeper, sponsored by the Retail Merchants Association is scheduled for this Saturday. November 28 beginning at 2 p.m. The parade route is from Piedmont Street through the town on Main Street, ending at the county Library. There will be a trophy given for the best civic entry and one for the best commercial parade entry.
The Culpeper Retail Merchants group provides the Christmas decorations for the town and they are installed by the town's maintenance personnel.
This year the association is also sponsoring the Culpeper Christmas Caper which includes a drawing for prizes on Christmas Eve. From November 27 through December 24, shoppers may register with participating merchants for prizes totalling as much as $650. No pur
