Bond Set

At $2,500

In circuit court on Wednesday, Judge Shore Robertson set bond of $2,500 for three persons charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny.

Herman Newman. Anthony Tyler and Harriett P. Newman, all of Culpeper, are facing three counts of breaking and entering and two of grand larceny involving robberies at the residences in Old Hollow of Clifford Lawson, Robert Johnson and Jeff Dwyer and Mark Rabbe.

Judge Robertson also appointed lawyers for the trio on Wednesday: Sharon Genebach Luke for Harriett Newman, David Konick for Anthony Tyler and Lee Albrecht for Herman Newman.

A fourth defendant, Robert Norko. who allegedly took part in the burglary ring and has been indicted on the same charges is out on personal recognizance. A court-appointed lawyer will be named for Norko at a later date.
