For the first time in 12 years a Democratic First Family will occupy the Executive Mansion.
A new staff under new leadership will move into the Governor's Suite on the third floor.
The General Assembly’s Democratic majority will be working in political as well as legislative harness with the new governor.
The infusion of new blood will inevitably lead, at the outset, to new ideas, new initiatives, and new approaches to solving the increasingly complex problems of Virginia's government.
