As its final major decision of the year, the House of Representatives in Washington, D. C. narrowly passed, 205 to 203, a new four-year farm bill, clearing it for the White House.
Congressman J. Kenneth Robinson, who supported it on final passage, points out that the bill “is undoubtedly troubling and disappointing to farmers who participate in the farm program, because of its reduced price support levels for major commodities.
