Funeral services for William Preston “Sarge" Jenkins, 59, of Richmond were held Monday at Woody Funeral Home in Midlothian. Burial was in Westhampton Memorial Park in Richmond.
Jenkins died Friday, January 15, 1982. He was a native of Rappahannock County, born in Washington, and a member of Bon Air Baptist Church. He was retired from Local 666, IBEW.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nannie R. Jenkins; a daughter, Mrs. Laurie Stone; one grandson and a brother, Clamon Jenkins, all of Richmond.
