Pursuant to Section 15.1-431 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is herby given that a public hearing has been scheduled for 9:00 a.m. at the Courthouse building at Washington, Virginia on Friday, February 5, 1982 to consider the following applications:

(1) SPECIAL USE PERMIT NO. 162: Shelvy H. Frazier, Trustee and Lindsey D. Savage, Pastor, of Massanova Pentecostal Church, have applied for a special use permit in accordance with Section 2-1-2 (15) of the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance, 1973. The ap plicants wish to conduct religious services, activities and all ministries of Massanova Pentacostal Church at its present location on the north side of State Secondary Route 622 onequarter mile west of State ROute 729 in Jackson Magisterial District, in eluding, but not limited to, a full comprehensive Christian education consisting of Sunday School and Christian Day School, nighly services, Missionary Society, all day meetings, Children's Crusade, and morning prayer meetings.

(2) SPECIAL USE PERMIT NO. 163: Norman and Sandra Cartwright-Brown have applied for a Special Use Permit in accordinace with Section 21- 2 (14) of the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance, 1973, to operate a "bed and breakfast inn" for overnight guests, to be known as "Conyers House," on their property near the village of Slate Mills, on State Secondary Route 707 adjacent to the F.T. Baptist Church.

(3) VARIANCE AP PLICATION NO. 164: Wayne Jenkins, t-a "Piney River Carpentry, Inc." has applied for a variance from the side yard requirements of Section 2- 5-1 (1). The applicant wishes to construct a single family dwelling on a nonconforming lot which was in existence prior to the enactment of the Ordinance and which is located on the south side of STate Secondary Route 626 west of the Town of Washington.

The above named applicants and other interested parties wishing to be heard are requested to be present at the said time and place. Copies of the foregoing applications are on file at the Zoning Office.
