Ingle Excells

Wakefield junior Christopher Ingle, son of Col. and Mrs. Robert Ingle of Washington, placed second in the district oration championship sponsored by the Sons of the American Revolution held in Culpeper Saturday.

Students competing in the contest had to deliver a six minute oration on a Revolutionary war topic and were judged on the basis of oratorical style and delivery as well as content. The first place winner in the contest was Cynthia Clark, a senior at Fauquier County High school.
