Tim Williams, a rising senior at RCHS, has been selected to attend Boys State this summer at Lynchburg College in Virginia. He will be attending the college during the week of June 1420.
Selection for Boys State is based on character, leadership ability, scholastic record, loyalty as an American citizen, intelligence and desire to serve one’s fellows.
Boys attending Boys State will learn how State government is organized and how it operates. The boys will be divided into groups to form their own city and each city will elect a representative and establish its own type of government.
