Rappahannock County Commonwealth’s Attorney Douglas K. Baumgardner has been nominated by Virginia Governor Charles S. Robb to serve as a member of the Virginia Laboratory Services Advisory Board.
Virginia law provides that the Laboratory Services Advisory Board shall consist of fourteen members, one of whom shall be a "representative of the Commonwealth Attorneys of Virginia.” The appointment, which will run until the expiration of Robb’s term in 1985, requires confirmation by the General Assembly.
