Dances Begin

Wednesday. May 5, the Rappahannock Country Dancers will begin their Spring series of International Dance classes. This series will continue the classes of last fall and winter which featured English contras, a Scottish Strathspey. Isreali circles, and American Squares, in addition to dances from all, over the rest of Europe.

The classes starting in May are open to everyone and beginners are welcome. It is not necessary for a person to have attended the first series as all of the new dances will be well taught. Sid and Margaret Gottlieb will again lead the group through fairly simple dances at first, progressing to more complex movements and steps.

To sign up for the classes, call Kathryn Treanor at 675-3412 during the day All dancers should register and pay the $15 class fee by April 30th.
