Tidier
George Webster Tidier, 87, of Culpeper died Wednesday, April 21. 1982, at the Veterans Hospital in Washington, D. C.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home by the Rev. Harold Eaton. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
A native of Rappahannock County, Tidier was the son of the late George Washington and Frances Quaintance Tidier. He was a retired U. S. Government painter and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of Slate Mills Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Winfred Brown Tidier; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine K. Scott of Alexandria and Mrs. Patricia K. Silliman of Washington, D. C.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Little minds are wounded by the smallest things.
