Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Spence and Sarah of Harrisonburg visited Mr. and Mrs. William Lee Sunday. They all motored to Fairfax to visit George Lee in Commonwealth Hospital. The Woman’s Society of Christian Service of the United Methodist Church met Monday April 19, with Mrs. M. R. Bradford Jr. Present were Fisher Burford, Russie Miller, Janet Eastham, Mabel Lillard, Gw$n Parker, Flo Duvall, Mary Curtis, Alice Pullen, Mary Brady, Mary Bywaters, Barbara Gentry, Gaynelle Russell and Evelyn Walker.
