the triple jump and third in the long jump, hitting the performance levels he showed before he sustained an injury early in the season. Running a leg of the winning 880 relay team with Jeff Porter. Carl Frye and Glenn Fletcher, Grigsby helped set a new RCHS record for the event in 1:36.7. Then he streaked to first place finishes in the 100 meters (11.4 seconds) and 200 meters (23.2 seconds).

Keithley posted a time of 4:45 to win the mile and then battled teammate Ronnie Atkins around the track to take the two mile run in 10:25. Atkins finished right on his heels for second place in 10:29.

Rounding out the scoring for the Panthers were Tim Williams with a third place throw of 40T0V4" in the shot put, Carl Frye with second in the long jump and third in the ' high jump, John Shanahan third in the high hurdles. Jeff Porter third in the 100 meters, Chris Capperton third in the 440. David Dodson third in the 880 and Glenn Fletcher second in the 200 meters.

It was almost a sweep in the long jump with Davis, Porter and Gheen finishing two-three-four. The shot put was another almost sweep as Mary Jordan, Marie Davis and Donna Williams threw for first, second and fourth.

In the discus, Marie Davis turned in a first place performance with a toss of 95’8”
