Wood

Funeral services for Leo Ainsworth Wood, 68, of Reva were conducted Thursday at Clore Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial was in Rock Island cemetery. Rock Island. 111.

Mr. Wood died Tuesday, April 20, 1982, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. A native of Rock Island, 111., his parents were the late Willis and Anna Margaret Wood. He was a retired police officer with the Washington Metropolitan Police Department.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josephine Wayland Wood, formerly from Rappahannock County; two sons, Larry Wood of Greenbelt, Md. and Thomas Wood of Spencer, W. Va.; one sister, Mrs. Barbara Patterson of Truckee, Calif, and six grandchildren.
