Each of these positions offers an opportunity to work on a rotating shift schedule which includes both premium and shift differential pay. Recorder Operators Operate state-of-the-art wide-band digital recorders in a real-time environment on a round-the-clock schedule. Accomplish unit interface via CRT; mount/dismount large tapes and reels; degausse tapes; maintain accountability of blanks and record tapes; perform daily preventative maintenance on recorders and tapes. Previous recorder operator experience required. Work in non-smoking area. Archive Technicians Operate tape winder/cleaner; inspect tapes; certify tapes on tear unit; maintain precise records of tape status, issue and receipt accuracy is critical. Record equipment anomalies. Exercise quality control of tapes and reels. Previous tape archivist experience required. Work in nonsmoking area.
