The Amissville Ruritan Club held its monthly meeting on April 21, at the Amissville Baptist Church. The guest speaker was Marvin Bates, from County Farm Service in Culpeper.
Mr. Bates emphasized the need to look positively and optimistically toward the future of this nation. In doing so he noted 10 reasons for positive views:
1. The current downward trend in the annual inflation rate. 2. A fall in the Producer Price Index over the past two months. 3. An increase of 12 percent in housing starts for February 1982, compared to the same month in 1981. 4.
