Sursum Corda Auction
Do you have a garage or barn full of nifty items looking for a new home? Do you have a secret skill you would like to share with the highest bidder? Are you a gourmet cook? great seamstress? or creative carpenter?
Friday night. July 2nd, Sursum Corda School will sponsor its 2nd Annual Auction. Again this year, John Walker Jeknins has graciously donated his time and auction house as the site of this year’s exciting event. Benefit Barn Dance
Dust off your dancing shoes and get ready to kick up your heels at the 2nd Annual Barn Dance to be held at Horseshoe Hollow Farm on Fodderstack Road. The dance will start at 8 p.m. and will feature music by The Stable Band and theh igh spirited calling of Sid Gottlieg and Jeff Lefkowitz.
At intermission, there will be a Pie Auction to benetu the Country Dancers, so bring a good appetite.
Admission is S3.00 to the dance and auction. People should get plenty of rest the night before and follow the signs from Flint Hill or Washington to the Barn Dance this Saturday night, May 15.

Anniversary Celebration
The First Baptist Church, Washington will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. W. R. Grant on Sunday, May 16, at 3 p.m. The Rev. Austin from Middleburg will be guest speaker. Dinner will be served and the public is invited.
