Art And Music Show
Scheduled May 13 Rappahannock County High School's annual spring concert and art show will be held this Thursday, May 13, in the RCHS auditorium beginning at 8 p.m. The chorus, under the direction of Judy Bomberger, will present madrigals, several pieces by Randal Thompson, show tunes and a Beatle's medley. Also on the program is a mini-concert by guitar students. In addition, work by high school art classes will be on display. Admission is free and the public is invited.
Bake Sale There will be a bake sale Saturday, May 15, beginning at 12 noon at the home of Ms. Linda L Boddie near Washington. The sale is sponsored by the First Baptist Church Ushers Board. Washington. For special orders call 675-3840.
Spring Festival The 4th Annual Old Town Warrenton Spring Festival will be held on Main Street in Warrenton on Saturday, May 15th, from 9:00 a m. to 4:00 p.m. Craftspeople from six states will be exhibiting and selling their wares. Some of the activities planned for the day include live music ranging from bluegrass to a concert of patriotic songs, square dancing, a pie-eating contest, pony rides, and a strolling magician. Plenty of food and drink—including homemade ice cream, will be available.
