The highlight of the weekend was the bridging and fly-up ceremony around the campfire Saturday night. Flying up from Brownies to Juniors were April Richey, Sussannah McNear, Jennifer Torneden, Camilla Jones, Diana Hudson, and Billilee Ballard. Bridging from Juniors to Cadettes were Cory Dermitt, Teressa Jenkins, Angie Armentrout, Terry Russell, Kelly Brown, Elizabeth Jenkins, and Heather Kilpatrick. Bridging from Cadettes to Seniors were Jane Kidwell, Kim Helmer, and Christine Rustic. The Rappahannock Girl Scouts would like to thank Helen and Howard Holschuch for the use of their campground, Safeway of Culpeper, Kentucky Fried Chicken of Culpeper. Burke’s Grocery of Woodville, Elmer Atkins of Phillips 66, the ladies of Hopewell Baptist Church, and Katherine Oettinger for contributions towards food for the camp out.
