Archie Linwood Fry, 72, of Winchester, died Thursday, May 6, 1982, in Winchester Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Highland Memorial Presbyterian Church, Winchester by the Rev. C. Emerson Smith. Burial was in the Union (Cemetery, Leesburg.
Mr. Fry was born January 5, 1910, in Loudoun County, son of the late Gark L and Bertha M. Fry. He was a former Rappahannock teacher and had been employed by the Winchester City School Board for 31 years, serving as an agriculture teacher and assistant principal at Handley High School and director of pupil and public relations. Surviving are his widow, Cora Osborne Fry; a daughter, Mrs. James G. Anderson of Winchester and three grandchildren.
